Calling on the newly elected European Parliament to prioritize climate action
During Climate Reality Leadership Training in Rome – and beyond – we want to encourage participants to engage with newly elected Members of the European Parliament, urging them to prioritize climate action and ensure an ambitious European Unions’ Nationally Determined Contribution (NDC) is submitted to the UNFCCC in 2025.

Using the power of numbers, we are encouraging individuals to use the below letter template to call on your representative to prioritize climate action.
How to join action during the Training?
Step 1
Download and print (link) the letter.
Step 2
Access THE LIST OF ELECTED EUROPEAN PARLIAMENT MEMBERS (link) and note down their contact information, particularly their office's address.​
Step 3
On the top of the letter, add the name of the Member of the European Parliament who you want to send the letter to.
Step 4
Place your signature (first and last name and contact information if you wish to be contacted) on the bottom of the letter. Feel free to add an additional note or message at the back of the letter.
Step 5
Place the letter in the envelope.
Step 6
Address the envelope using the name of the MEP, the name of their European Parliament Political Group affiliation, and the address of the European Parliament. You can find the address format at the bottom of this page.
Step 7
Send the letter through the nearest post office.
